SCOTT BLEVINS NAMED PRESIDENT AND COO OF WORLDWIDE EQUIPMENT

Effective October 1, Scott Blevins is named the President and COO of Worldwide Equipment

PRESTONSBURG, KY – October 1, 2020 – Scott Blevins has been named the President of Worldwide Equipment and will also continue to serve as Chief Operations Officer. The change in organization was announced by CEO and President Terry Dotson October 1, 2020 and is effective immediately. Scott has been with the company for over 27 years and we are confident he will lead the company in the right direction going forward.

Mr. Dotson, who will continue as CEO says, “He and I have spent countless hours and days together these last 27 years and I hope to spend many more. I love him very, very much and have trusted him completely to take the company in the same general path WE have followed these last many years by putting our people, our customers and our communities first, but making it even better for all of them! I also think that after I’m gone, he will remember and extend the positive journey of our yesterdays into many tomorrows.”

Mr. Dotson’s announcement continued: “I am not retiring and probably never will- I do not know how. When I was 8 years old my Dad told me, ‘From now till the day they pat you in the face with a shovel, you will work or we will remove your chair from the table.’ I believed him then and I still do! However, I totally trust the direction of our company under its current staff and I care deeply for our organization and our people. With Scott’s leadership, his caring, his work ethic, and his love for this business and you all, things will be good for a very long time. He has earned the title and the responsibilities it carries. God bless.”
